Built as an exercise in pushing the technical limits of hand-fabricated steel. The massive, sweeping horns began as a hand-shaped frame of 3/16” round rod. Because of the rigidity of the material, individual panels of sheet metal had to be cut and fitted together to skin the complex curves of the structure. The texture of the horns was then created entirely by hand, laying down hundreds of individual welding beads one by one.
